Yes, the return of the "roam alone" joke.

Many years ago, when The Tick first debuted as a comic book from New England Comics, I read a review of said comic in AMAZING HEROES (a sadly long defunct magazine). Now in that first issue of The Tick there is a scene where The Tick breaks a flag pole while falling off a building and for a few pages the pole is vibrating back and forth making a "wub" "wub" "wub" noise. This goes on for several pages. The reviewer for AMAZING HEROES said "This isn't just beating a dead horse, it's turning it into glue."

I love that quote.

And this is my attempt to make glue.
